REPORT: Feminists4John at TUC Womens Conference

Feminist4John activists were campaigning at TUC Womens Conference in Scarborough. Delegates were given copies of the Womens Manifesto produced by the John4Leader campaign explaining Johns commitments to the "gender agenda". Loraine Monk from Feminists4John spoke at a Fringe Meeting on the future of the Labour Party after Blair called by the Labour Representation Committee, alongside Mary Turner, President of the GMB and member of Labour's NEC, and Katy Clark MP. Alice Mahon also addressed the meeting and called on women trade unionists to support John McDonnell in the forthcoming leadership election as the best way of ensuring their concerns were represented in the Party.
